We would like to kindly inform that Mrs. Małgorzata Klawe, PSE-Operator SA representative in UCTE (Union for the Coordination of Transmission of Electricity) by electronic voting was elected on the post of the Vice-President of above organization.

UCTE is an organization that unites European transmission system operators. Since 1995 Polish power system became a part of connected European power systems.

The new management of UCTE consist: President - Mr. Jose Penedos, Vice President – Mrs. Małgorzata Klawe and Chairman of the steering committee – Mr. Gerard Mass.

Mrs. Małgorzata Klawe has been responsible for international cooperation and implementation of strategic decisions of the Polish energy sector for more than 15 years. Shi is credited to be one of the architects of the interconnection process of the CENTREL power systems with the UCTE grid in 1995.

In the period 2003-2004, Mrs. Klawe was President of CENTREL, the regional group of Transmission System Operators of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.

For many years, Mrs. Klawe was a Polish representative in General Assemblies of UCTE and ETSO. At present, she is the advisor to the Board of PSE-Operator SA.

Mrs. Klawe’s knowledge, long-standing experience and involvement in creation of national and European solutions concerning power sector proves that right person was chosen to the post of Vice-President.

This event is also UCTE’s recognition for Polish TSO.
