PSE-Operator S.A. and Lietuvos Energija AB (transmission system operators in Poland and Lithuania) informed that on February 12, 2008 an agreement on the connection between the power systems of Poland and Lithuania was signed. According to the Agreement the TSOs intend to establish a company with its seat in Warsaw. The main aim of the company will be to prepare  the initial phase of the cross-border transmission line.
