Announcement of PSE S.A. on unilateral monthly auction of the transmission capacities on the line 220kV Zamość-Dobrotwór (Polish-Ukrainian interconnection) for June 2023 (Reservation period 01.06.2023 – 30.06.2023)

Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A., acting as Auction Office, informs that on 5th May 2023 starts the unilateral auction of the transmission capacities on the line 220kV Zamość-Dobrotwór (Polish-Ukrainian interconnection)for the reservation period: 01.06.2023 – 30.06.2023.

Therefore today, i.e. 5th May 2023, starts the process of registration of Auction Participants. Registration Forms can be submitted to the Auction Office not later than 16th May 2023, until 4 p.m.

We inform, that PSE S.A. has published on PSE S.A. website updated Auction Rules (“Rules for monthly auctions of transmission capacity on 220 kV line Zamość‑Dobrotwór - PSE S.A. and  NEK UKRENERGO cross border interconnection, organized unilaterally by PSE S.A. in 2023”). The update relates primarily to the PSE S.A.’s right to change the volume of electricity transmitted by Zamość-Dobrotwór interconnection in relation to the volume resulting from the Schedule submitted by the Auction Participant that has received the Allocated Transmission Capacities (chapter 9, point 9). The volume change will not affect Auction Participant’s position nor the settlement.

Furthermore, in Auction Rules some changes have been made in order to unify Auction Rules with analogous document concerning Rzeszów-Chmielnicka interconnection.

The remaining provisions of the Auction Rules regarding procedures and activities related to bidding and providing capacity on the Zamosc-Dobrotwór interconnection have not changed from the wording of the document published on 02/12/2022.

The updated Auction Rules will apply from the monthly auction organized by PSE for June 2023 (the auction covered by this Announcement).

The  “RESULTS OF UNILATERAL MONTHLY AUCTION OF TRANSMISSION CAPACITIES AT the 220 kV line Zamość-Dobrotwór (PSE S.A. and  NEK UKRENERGO cross border interconnection) for June 2023” will be published on 18th May 2023 on our website under the bookmark Cross-Border Electricity Exchange – Auction Office – Auction results.
